INDIE STREAMS

Terms & Conditions

Website: https://indiestreams.tech/

Effective Date: October 27, 2026

Operated by: [Indie Streams.Tech]

1. Welcome & Acceptance

Welcome to Indie Streams, an independent music streaming service connecting independent artists with listeners who want to discover, enjoy, and financially support their music.

These Terms & Conditions govern all visitors, free listeners, paying subscribers, registered artists, and users of Indie Streams.

By registering, subscribing, purchasing an artist product, uploading music, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you disagree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Indie Streams is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old.

Users must provide truthful registration information, have the legal authority to enter agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

We may restrict access in locations where the service cannot legally or technically operate.

3. Listener Membership

Indie Streams offers free music discovery and a paid monthly listening membership.

Free visitors may browse participating artists and listen to available previews of up to 30 seconds. Free access does not grant unrestricted playback.

Paid listeners may subscribe for the currently advertised price of $9.99 per month, choose up to ten participating artists, and listen to available full-length music from those saved artists while their subscription is active and verified.

The full billing terms, including taxes if applicable, will be disclosed before purchase.

4. Recurring Payments

Listener memberships renew automatically each month until canceled.

By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charge disclosed at checkout. Indie Streams will obtain the required consent before beginning recurring billing.

Payments may be processed through Square or another disclosed payment provider.

An active, successfully verified payment is required to maintain subscription benefits. Failed payments, chargebacks, or canceled subscriptions may interrupt full-song access.

5. Pick Your 10 Program

A verified paid listener may choose and save up to ten eligible artists per monthly selection period.

Once saved, artist selections are generally locked until the next eligible monthly reset.

The selections determine which participating artists the listener can stream in full and which artists qualify for the platform’s selection-based revenue allocation.

Selecting fewer than ten artists does not reduce the membership price. The financial treatment of unused artist-selection slots must follow the separately published and confirmed allocation policy.

Indie Streams may correct technical errors, fraudulent selections, or artist eligibility changes.

6. Music Streaming Rights

Subscriptions provide personal, noncommercial access to available music streams.

Listeners do not purchase ownership of the recordings or compositions.

Unless expressly permitted by the service, users may not permanently download, copy, sell, redistribute, rebroadcast, extract, or commercially exploit recordings.

Listeners must not bypass payment restrictions, preview limits, or technical access protections.

Music availability depends on artist participation, applicable rights, account eligibility, and technical availability.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Listeners may cancel future subscription renewals using the online cancellation method available at:

Support is available at:

[indiestreams2026@gmail.com]

A properly completed cancellation stops future renewals. Ordinarily, access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, unless a refund, reversal, enforcement action, or applicable legal requirement changes that period.

Deleting an Indie Streams account does not necessarily cancel a separate recurring payment authorization. Subscribers must confirm that their payment subscription has been canceled.

Unless required by law or otherwise stated at checkout, completed billing periods and one-time purchases are generally nonrefundable.

Billing errors, duplicate payments, unauthorized transactions, and other legally required refund requests may be submitted for review.

8. Accounts & Account Deletion

Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting their login credentials.

Account sharing, impersonation, unauthorized transfers, and fraudulent duplicate accounts are prohibited.

Users may request account closure and eligible data deletion through:

[INSERT ACCOUNT DELETION METHOD]

Account deletion may permanently affect saved artists, uploads, membership features, and profile information.

Certain financial, tax, copyright, security, and transaction records may need to be retained as legally required.

9. Independent Artist Accounts

Artists may register to upload and manage eligible music on Indie Streams.

The currently advertised artist album-upload product costs $9.99 as a one-time fee and supports submission and management of up to ten full albums, subject to disclosed technical limits.

This purchase is separate from the recurring listener membership.

Purchasing an upload product does not guarantee listeners, placement, revenue, acceptance of infringing content, or perpetual storage.

Artists should maintain backup copies of their files and artwork.

10. Music Ownership & Copyright

Artists retain ownership of music and creative works they own.

Before uploading, artists must possess the rights and permissions necessary to distribute and stream the material.

These permissions may include recording masters, compositions, lyrics, beats, samples, featured performers, artwork, promotional images, publishing rights, and applicable contractual approvals.

Artists may not knowingly upload stolen material, unauthorized recordings, infringing samples, or works subject to conflicting exclusive rights.

Each party remains responsible for licensing, reporting, and royalty obligations imposed on it by applicable law. An artist upload does not automatically clear every copyright or music-publishing obligation.

11. Artist License to Indie Streams

By uploading authorized material, artists grant Indie Streams a nonexclusive, worldwide license, limited to operating and promoting the platform.

This includes reasonably necessary storage, technical conversion, streaming, public performance, display, limited previews, and platform-related promotion.

Necessary hosting and delivery partners may use the material solely to provide the authorized service.

Ownership remains with the applicable rights holders.

Artist revenue allocations are governed by the platform’s applicable payment and revenue-sharing terms.

Following a valid removal request, public access will be discontinued within a reasonable operational period, subject to technical, legal, and recordkeeping requirements.

12. Artist Revenue Sharing

Indie Streams uses a selection-based model intended to direct approximately half of qualifying listener subscription revenue toward participating artists.

For a qualifying $9.99 monthly membership with ten valid saved artists, the intended allocation is:

Each selected artist: $0.50

Ten selected artists combined: $5.00

Platform portion: $4.99 before applicable processing costs or adjustments

This structure reflects the approximately 50/50 model while accounting for the actual $9.99 membership price.

Revenue depends on validated selections associated with collected, eligible payments, rather than a guaranteed payment for each individual stream.

Refunds, reversals, chargebacks, fraud, incomplete payments, and legally required adjustments may affect eligible allocations.

[INSERT CONFIRMED RULE FOR MEMBERS SELECTING FEWER THAN TEN ARTISTS.]

Artists are not guaranteed a particular number of supporters or amount of earnings.

13. Artist Payouts & Reporting

Artist allocations are intended to be calculated monthly.

Payouts are subject to administrative review and approval, verification of legitimate transactions, and completion of necessary artist payment information.

Dashboard balances may remain provisional until the corresponding payment and reporting period has been reconciled.

Indie Streams may temporarily hold disputed or unverified amounts while investigating errors or fraud.

Applicable payment thresholds, payout fees, schedules, and approved methods must be communicated before they are applied.

Artists remain responsible for applicable taxes. Indie Streams may request information needed to comply with reporting or withholding obligations.

14. Artist Analytics & Supporter Information

Indie Streams may provide artists with analytics displaying supporter counts, estimated earnings, and other account activity.

Figures may change due to reversals, cancellations, eligibility corrections, or reporting delays.

An artist may receive limited information about supporters when permitted under the platform’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Private contact information, including email addresses, must not be disclosed for unrelated artist marketing without the necessary notice, legal basis, and consent.

Artists may not scrape, sell, disclose, or misuse personal supporter information.

15. Copyright Complaints & DMCA

Indie Streams respects intellectual property rights and maintains a policy concerning repeat copyright infringers.

Copyright owners may report alleged infringement by providing a legally sufficient written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, its location, the complainant’s contact information, the required good-faith and accuracy statements, and an authorized physical or electronic signature.

Notices should be sent to:

Designated Copyright Agent: [N/A]

Email: [N/A]

Telephone: [N/A]

Address: [N/A]

Indie Streams may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content when required or otherwise legally appropriate.

Affected users may provide a valid counter-notification under applicable law. The platform will follow relevant procedures for evaluating and, where appropriate, restoring disputed material.

Accounts involving repeat infringement may be terminated.

16. Community Rules

Users must treat artists, listeners, and other platform participants lawfully and respectfully.

Prohibited activity includes unlawful harassment, threats, identity misuse, uploading infringing material, deliberate fraud, malicious software, and unauthorized access to systems or accounts.

Users must not manipulate artist selections, subscriber activity, or engagement figures through bots, fake accounts, or deceptive practices.

Violations may result in content removal, payment review, suspension, or account termination.

17. Content Moderation

Indie Streams reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove content that violates applicable law, these Terms, or legitimate platform security requirements.

The platform does not guarantee that every artist submission will be approved or remain available.

Artists may contact support to request a review of a moderation decision when appropriate.

18. Indie Streams Intellectual Property

The Indie Streams name, logos, website design, interfaces, software, and original platform content remain the property of their respective owners.

Users may not copy, redistribute, impersonate, or commercially exploit platform intellectual property without authorization.

Artists’ independently owned music and artwork remain subject to their own rights.

19. Privacy & Personal Information

Indie Streams may collect information necessary for registration, account management, payment verification, music access, artist selections, reporting, and security.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the platform’s separate Privacy Policy and applicable law.

That policy should explain data collection, permitted sharing, retention, security measures, and available privacy rights.

Indie Streams may send necessary subscription, payment, account-security, and artist-payout notifications.

Unrelated promotional communications will follow applicable consent and opt-out rules.

Privacy Policy: [https://indiestreams.tech/privacy-policy]

20. Third-Party Providers & External Links

The platform may integrate third-party services, including Square, hosting providers, artist merchandise stores, social-media profiles, and external websites.

Third-party services may operate under separate terms and privacy policies.

Indie Streams does not control independent third-party content or availability, except as required by law or contractual commitments.

21. Availability & Technical Limitations

Indie Streams is a developing streaming service and may periodically introduce improvements, modify supported devices, perform maintenance, or update payment and playback technologies.

Interruptions, delayed account verification, unavailable recordings, and technical problems may occur.

We will make reasonable efforts to address material problems, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Applicable consumer rights remain protected.

22. Service Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Indie Streams is offered on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

The platform does not guarantee particular levels of artist earnings, subscriber engagement, uninterrupted access, or continued availability of individual recordings.

These disclaimers do not override applicable consumer protections or enforceable promises made during purchase.

23. Liability & Artist Responsibility

To the extent legally permitted, Indie Streams is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from service interruptions, unauthorized user activity, or third-party conduct.

Subject to applicable exceptions, the operator’s aggregate financial liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid directly to Indie Streams by the claimant during the preceding twelve months.

Artists remain responsible for the rights and permissions they represent they possess and, to the extent legally permitted, agree to indemnify the operator for qualifying third-party claims resulting from breaches of those representations.

Nothing limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

24. Account Suspension & Termination

Indie Streams may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations, copyright infringement, fraud, nonpayment, security concerns, or legal requirements.

Where appropriate, users may be given notice or an opportunity to resolve a problem.

Termination does not automatically extinguish valid financial obligations, artist-payment records, or an independently active payment subscription.

Users should separately confirm recurring-payment cancellation.

25. Changes to These Terms

Indie Streams may update these Terms to reflect legal requirements, new services, platform improvements, or operational changes.

Material changes will be communicated when required.

Price changes and material subscription modifications will be handled according to applicable notice and consent requirements.

A revised effective date will be published when the Terms change.

26. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are generally governed by the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING STATE], subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply in other jurisdictions.

Users are encouraged to contact Indie Streams first regarding billing, copyright, access, or other disputes.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates statutory rights or prevents lawful access to a competent court.
